GCS promotes David Bloxham to CEO

GCS has announced the promotion of David Bloxham to CEO with immediate effect.

Following the acquisition of GCS by nGAGE in May this year and the subsequent integration into the group, Bloxham – previously Managing Director – will lead the GCS business into its next phase of growth.

Bloxham commented, “This is an important personal step for me but is also recognition to everyone that has put a huge amount of effort in making the MBO and integration happen, so my thanks go to Lisa Forrester and the wider leadership team. We enter the next phase of the company’s history in great shape and able to focus all our energies on growing our business.

“With the backing of nGAGE and the fantastic team we have, it will give our people room to grow and develop their careers in both the international and domestic arenas.  There is a real buzz about the place and we know that we can achieve amazing things in the next few years.”

nGAGE CEO, Tim Cook added, “David’s leadership through the M&A process and subsequent integration programmes has been outstanding. At the same time as delivering the budgeted and significant synergies (both cost and sales), GCS has had the best trading quarter of its history – no mean feat.

“At nGAGE, it’s all about the people. Finding and backing quality professionals that understand their sector and are driven to grow their businesses is what we are about and in David (and of course, his team) we believe that we’re all onto a winner. This gives us great hope for the future of GCS.”
