Retinue Health secures new clinical staffing contract

Retinue Health has announced a new clinical staffing contract with five Health Boards across the West of Scotland. Designed to support the Boards in  controlling  agency spend, the contract – focused on best value – will see Retinue delivering through an innovative neutral vendor model.

Procured under the Crown Commercial Services multi-disciplinary framework, the solution incorporates the management of all medical locum spend across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, NHS Ayrshire and Arran, NHS Dumfries and Galloway, NHS Lanarkshire  and NHS Forth Valley.

The solution provides each of the Health Boards access to market leading demand management software, together with on and off-site resourcing, compliance and cost management support.

Retinue’s Managing Director, Rachel Mckenzie commented, “We are delighted to be working with the participating Health Boards to create a solution that drives down the costs of medical locums and establishes a consistent value for money commercial landscape across the region, whilst continuing to recognise that locums play a critical role in meeting essential clinical staffing priorities.”
